London -- Rubber prices recovered overnight in Tokyo, rising through $4. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up 4 at yen 333 ($4.03) on 22 March. Shorter-dated prices were trading up 1, at yen 310 a few minutes before the close on Friday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up a cent at $3.79 for September deliveries an hour before the close on Friday. April deliveries were also up by a cent at $3.75.
In India, NMCE said April deliveries closed down 3 at Rs 197 ($3.85).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for April closed up by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 28.8 ($4.57) per kilo on Friday.
