Guangzhou City , China - Local authories in Guangzhou have seized almost a thousand counterfeit tyres which bear the trademarks of western brands, including Michelin, Bridgestone, Hankook, Dunlop and others, according to a report on the website of the China Rubber Industries Association (CRIA).
The report said two warehouses were discovered to contain the tyres. From the first, 346 tyres were seized and a further 647 from the second
The report said the case is being investigated by the Guangzhou Municipal Trade and Industry Bureau.
