Lanxess raises CR prices... again

Leverkusen, Germany - Lanxess has announced yet another worldwide price increase for its chloroprene rubbers. This time the increase will be up to EUR 160 / USD 210 per metric ton effective March 1, 2012. The company said the move comes in response to steeply rising raw material and energy costs.
The company previously issued a price increase on 15 Feb this year. Prior to that, 2011 saw four increases, dated 1 August, 1 June, 1 March and 1 January.
