Continental and Marangoni reorganize cooperation model in Europe

Hanover, Germany, February 13, 2012. Starting from April 2012 tyre manufacturer Continental and Marangoni Group, the Italian supplier of retreading systems, are to change their alliance structure in Europe. Conti ill continue to use Marangoni technology, but will market it through its own systems
“After the successful introduction of ContiTread on the European market through a licensing agreement in 2008, tread liners will be promoted and marketed directly by our Group's sales organization from beginning of April 2012â€, explains Christian Sass, Director Retread Business Commercial Vehicles Tires (CVT) Continental
“The evolution of the business model will further strengthen the long-time industrial collaboration with Marangoni and allow us to benefit from the extensive know-how of Marangoni in the retreading technologyâ€, continues Christian Sass.
