Zeon's sales fall in Q3

Tokyo - Sales at Zeon Corp declined slightly in the nine months to 31 December 2011, but profits increased. The company expects full year sales to be 3.8 percent down on the previous year.
In the nine months, the company reported sales of yen 199,419 million (euro 1944 million), just 1.1 percent down on the same period a year previously. Operating profits, however, rose by 6.2 percent to yen 28,459 million.
For the full year, Zeon expects total sales to be yen 260 billion, down by 3.8 percent compared to the previous year. It expects total operating profit to be yen 32 billion, a decline of 9.3 percent on the year-before figure.
