London -- Rubber prices rose by around 2 percent over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading up by 6 yen at yen 321 ($4.19) per kg at the close of trading on Monday 6 February. Shorter-dated prices surged above yen 300, trading up by 6 yen at yen 307.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading up by 7 cents at $3.81 for July deliveries and by about 6 cent at $3.81 for March deliveries at Monday's close.
In India, NMCE said February deliveries rose by 3 Rs to close at Rs 191 ($3.89).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for March increased by a almost a yuan to close at Yuan 28.8 ($4.57) per kilo .
