NR Prices largely unchanged over the weekend

London -- Rubber prices remained weak, but largely unchanged over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down by one yen, at yen 268 ($3.48) per kg on Monday 09 January. Shorter-dated prices were up by the same amount, at yen 252.
In Singapore, TSR20 for June delivery was also trading unchanged at $3.31 toward the market close. Short-dated contracts were down by a cent, trading around $3.26 a few minutes before the close.
In India, NMCE said January deliveries fell by about three rupees over the weekend, to close at Rs 191 ($3.63).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw January 2012 deliveries essentially unchanged to close at Yuan 26.4 ($4.18) per kilo.
