Kortrijk, Belgium -- Bekaert and its partners in Chile have restructured their sharehodlings in a series of joint venture operations in Chile, Peru and Canada. As a result, Bekaert has gained a 52-percent controlling stake in the operations.
The operations cover mainly steel wire and steel rope, rather than steel cord.
