Rubber prices fall
ERJ staff report (DS)
London -- Rubber prices eased overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down 8 yen, at yen 276 ($3.54) per kg on Tuesday 13 December. Shorter-dated prices remained stable at around yen 262.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 for delivery in January 2012 fell, and was trading at around at $3.37. TSR20 for March delivery was also down sharply, trading around $3.37.
In India, NMCE said December deliveries fell by Rs 2, to close at Rs 201 ($3.77).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw January 2012 deliveries close down by a fraction of a yuan at Yuan 26.7 ($4.19) per kilo.
