NR prices plunge again over the weekend

London -- Rubber prices eased sharply over the weekend. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down 13 yen at yen 260 ($3.38) per kg on Monday 21 Nov. Shorter-dated prices fell by around yen 9 to close at yen 246.
In Singapore, SGX said RSS3 for delivery in April 2012 also fell sharply, closing at $3.38. Shorter dated contracts closed down at $3.27 TSR20 for March delivery was down about $0.13, trading around $3.27.
In India, NMCE said December deliveries bucked the trend by closing up a couple of rupees, but remained below Rs 200, to close at Rs 195 ($3.75).
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw December deliveries fell by a fraction of a yuan to close at Yuan 25.6 ($4.02) per kilo.
