Nishikawa Rubber income drops 84% in H1 2011

Hiroshima, Japan - Japanese rubber maker Nishikawa Rubber has reported half-year sales of Yen 27.87 billion, up 5.7 percent from the same period in 2010. The company, which specialises in weather stripping for cars, reported net income of Yen 346 million for the six months ended 30 Sept 2011, down 83.8 percent year-on-year.
Earnings per share for the six-month period were Yen 17.69, down from Yen 109.31 during the first six months of 2010.
