Nolato sales fall in first nine months

Torekov, Sweden -- Nolato AB's sales during the first nine months of 2011 totalled SEK 2,243
million (euro 248 million), 11% lower than the SEK 2,511 million reported during the corresponding period
of the previous year. Nolato said its Medical and Industrial divisions reported good growth, while Nolato Telecom continues to record weak volumes..
Nolato Industrial's sales rose by 16% to SEK 279 million (241), and the operating income EBITA increased by 24% to SEK 26 million (21).
As previously stated, the business area has established a small production
unit in Romania. Production is progressing according to plan.
Nolato Medical increased its sales by 9% to SEK 220 million (202). The operating income EBITA was SEK 25 million (25).
The Medical division has approved an extension to the factory in Hungary. A further 3,500 m2 will be completed,
enabling the gradual commencement of production from 2013 onwards. This
extension will provide additional clean room capacity, amongst other things.
The investment cost is estimated at around SEK 30 million.
Nolato Telecom's sales halved to SEK 220 million (444), including the resale of touch screens of approx. SEK 5 million (60). Operating income was SEK 7 million (32).
