Vienna- Centrotrade Holding AG of Vienna has acquired Malaysian natural rubber and latex trade ED&F Man. Completion of the sale is expected to take place in Nov 2011, Centrotrade told ERJ in a 25 Oct email.
Centrotrade, which distributes natural and synthetic rubber, latex, minerals and metals, declined to specify the amount paid for the company.
A spokesman for the Centrotrade said both companies share similar business but in different territories. The acquisition will allow Centrotrade access to new markets.
