HT Mir to launch new range of rubber injection machines
ERJ staff report (DS)
Friedrichshafen, Germany -- HT Mir is to launch a range of rubber injection moulding machines early next year. The company which acquired the assets and intellectual property of both Mir and Rutil, has significantly updated the technology of the two previous companies to create a range of 300 - 400 tonne all-electric rubber injection moulding machines which offer better power consumption and quieter operation.
Pietro Nicolazzi, chief executive and president of HT Mir told ERJ that the new range would be launched at the Plast event next spring in Milan.
He said the company is specialising in large machines and custom-built equipment. Currently HT Mir's main business in the rubber segment is refurbishing and upgrading the installed mased of Mir and Rutil machines in Italy's rubber Valley, but said Nicolazzi, the new range will be introcuced intially to the Italian market and then to a wider audience.
