Fenner appoints non-Exec director

London -- Fenner PLC said it will appoint Vanda Murray as a non-executive director with effect from the conclusion of the AGM on 11 January 2012. Murray will be appointed as the Senior Independent Director in January 2012, taking over that role from David Buttfield who has been the Senior Independent Director since January 2006. Buttfield will remain on the Board as a non-executive director to provide continuity.

Vanda Murray OBE (50) has worked in the UK, Europe, USA and Asia and has a breadth of international experience and knowledge. In 2002 Vanda was awarded an OBE for services to Industry and Export. Vanda is currently a non-executive director of Carillion Plc, Microgen Plc, Vphase Plc and Manchester Airport Group Plc.
