GreenWorld selects management team for UK tyres-to-energy project

New York -- GreenWorld Development Inc. said it has engaged an experienced management team for its planned European expansion. The UK-based team will manage the development and operation of the Nottinghamshire tyres-to-energy plant which is being acquired by GreenWorld and will be the first of a planned rollout of Energy Centers in the UK and Ireland. The team includes:
David Collet - European Chief Executive Officer
Richard Lindley - European Finance Director
Philip Boaler - European Technical Executive
Tim Kinnett - Group Chief Technical Officer
GreenWorld's first UK Waste to Energy Centre will be based in Market Warsop in Nottinghamshire, the site consists of 2.5 acres with sufficient area to install the tyre to energy plant and CHP top generate 7MW of renewable energy. The site has a waste transfer license allowing it to take in 100 tons of tyres per day, which provides sufficient feed stock for the planned energy generation, there is also space for the storage of 500,000 tyres. The company is in discussions to acquire further licenses in the UK and USA.
