UK's RAC calls for winter tyre swap

London -- The UK motoring organisation RAC is calling for UK drivers to swap to winter tyres in the cold season.

The organisation said research shows that just 10 percent of drivers switched from summer to winter tyres last year, while 85 percent made no attempt to swap.
