Shanghai rubber prices close below Yuan 30

London -- Rubber prices in Shanghai fell further on Friday, to well below $4.70. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month were unchanged, closing at yen 338 ($4.43) per kg on Friday 23 Sept. Shorter-dated prices were also unchanged, closing at yen 327.
In Singapore, SGX saw little trading in RSS3, but October 2011 contracts closed down $0.13 at $4.43. TSR20 for delivery in February 2012 was down $0.10 at $4.31.
In India, the NMCE said prices fell by just three rupees, with October deliveries priced at Rs 215 ($4.35).
In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw prices drop below Yuan 30, with October deliveries closing at Yuan 29.8 ($4.65) per kilo
