    ERJ staff report (DS)

Dublin, Ireland -- Freedonia has published a new report titled, Speciality Silicas Market . The 170-page report was first published in May 2011 and is available for a price of around Euro 3840, depending on delivery options.

The publishers say, "US demand for speciality silicas is forecast to rise 5.8 percent annually to $1.7 billion in 2015. Market volume will also climb at a healthy clip, rebounding from the declines of the recessionimpacted 2005-2010 period." They add "Among speciality silica markets, the rubber market is forecast to expand at the most rapid pace through 2015, when it will reclaim its position as the leading outlet for speciality silicas in dollar terms. This market can be divided into tyre and nontire applications, with the best growth prospects expected for the nontire segment."

ERJ has not seen this report and can make no comment on the quality of the research or of the conclusions.
