Nominations invited for Tan Sri Dr B. C Sekhar Gold Medal 2010

Kochi, India - Rubber Asia magazine has invited nominations for the Tan Sri Dr BC Sekhar Gold Medal, which is awarded to the person who has made the most significant contribution to the world rubber industry during 2010.
The medal was created to honour the memory of the late Tan Sri Dr BC Sekhar, a polymer scientist and administrator who dedicated his whole life to the promotion of the rubber industry, Rubber Asia said.
The nominees for the medal can be from any segment of the rubber industry including both natural rubber and synthetic rubber. For example, the award can go to a planter, industrialist, researcher, inventor, publisher, Head of any national Rubber Board or rubber-related body, policy maker etc.
The first of the series, Tan Sri Dr. B.C. Sekhar Gold Medal 2010, will be awarded to the winner, based on his/her contributions during 2010, at a function in connection with India Rubber Summit & Dinner on 3 September 2011 in Kochi, India.
Nominations along with supporting documents and credentials are to be received on or before 15 June 2011.
