NR prices drop sharply worldwide

Tokyo -- Prices on Tokyo's rubber exchanges moved sharply downward ovenight.
On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down yen 28 at yen 358.8 ($4.46) per kg on Friday 6 May. Shorter-dated prices were higher, at around yen 400.
In Singapore, Sicom said short-dated RSS3 closed down by some $0.19 at around $5.22, with longer-dated contracts trading well below $5.00. Short-dated TSR 20 closed down by $0.13 at $4.44
Prices on India's NMCE exchange closed down Rs 9 at Rs 221 ($4.93) per kilo
In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw prices fall by about a yuan , with May deliveries seeing highs at around Yuan 34.1 ($5.25) per kilo
