    ERJ staff report (DS)

Mumbai -- MRF Limited has released the MRF ZSLK series tyres across India. MRF described the product as, "A premium eco-friendly, tubeless tyre," adding, "MRF ZSLK has evolved as a result of MRF's continuous R&D and expertise based on the exacting requirements of Indian Customers and road conditions. The MRF ZSLK tyres are made from unique silica- based rubber compounds which have been tested extensively on Indian road conditions with emphasis on endurance, wet and dry braking."

The company added, "Fuel-efficiency is the main feature of the ZSLK range of tyres, MRF's contribution to the green drive. The tread compound of these radial tyres, reinforced by silica, provides lower rolling resistance, with overall fuel efficiency as the resultant outcome. Tests conducted by TUV, Germany which tested MRF ZSLK tyres in size 175/65 R14 revealed rolling resistance at different levels lower than ordinary carbon black by over 10 percent. "

The MRF ZSLK series of eco-friendly radial car tyre are available for a large range of vehicles such as Honda City/Civic, Ford Fiesta, Getz (Hi- end), Santro, Maruti SX4, Wagon R ((up size) Skoda, Octavia, Tata Indica Vista, Nissan Micra (up size) Chery Spark, VW Bettle (up sizes subject to body clearance) at all MRF T&S Showrooms, Exclusive MRF Dealerships, and Authorised MRF outlets.
