India releases NR stats for March

Kerala, India -- The Indian Rubber Board has published the March edition of Rubber Statistical news, which analyses data from the month of January 2011.
The publication says, "Natural Rubber (NR)
production in the country
during January 2011 slightly
increased to 98,800 tonnes
compared to the production of
97,500 tonnes during January 2010."
it adds, "cumulative production during the
first ten months of 2010-11 was
749,950 tonnes compared to
729,250 tonnes during the
corresponding period of the previous
year, registering a growth of 2.8%.
The production provisionally estimated
for February'11 is 57,600 tonnes."

during January'11 increased to
9,859 tonnes from 9,463 tonnes
