NR prices sink below $5 in Tokyo

Tokyo -- Prices on Tokyo's rubber exchanges fell overnight.
On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed down by about 20 yen, to yen 408 ($4.93) per kg on Tuesday 19 April. Shorter-dated prices were higher, at yen 438.
In Singapore, Sicom said short-dated RSS3 also eased to around $5.76, with longer-dated contracts trading closer to $5.30 on thin trading. Short-dated TSR 20 closed down by the same amount at $4.79
India's NMCE prices moved up slightly, with April deliveries finishing at around Rs 240 ($5.39) per kilo
In China, the Shanghai Futures Exchange saw prices remain unchanged , with May deliveries seeing highs at around Yuan 38.1 ($5.83) per kilo
