Lion Copolymer cited for safety breaches

Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Associated Press reports that the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration has proposed penalties totaling $182,000 against Lion Copolymer for alleged safety breaches at its synthetic rubber plant in Baton Rouge.
OSHA said violations have exposed workers to possible fires, explosions and other hazards.
