Sinopec says rubber output increased in 2010

Beijing -- China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) reported its audited annual results for the full year ended 31 December, 2010. At group level, both sales and profits increased by 42 percent.
The company said production of all types of rubber in 2010 amounted to 967 kt, in 2010, up from 884 kt in 2009.
It added that its Yanshan butyl rubber project is progressing well.
