CTI completes balloon production line in Mexico

Barrington Illinois -- CTI Industries Corp., a manufacturer and marketer of packaging and balloons, has completed construction and installation of new latex balloon production equipment at its plant in Guadalajara, Mexico and has commenced production using the new equipment. CTI's subsidiary Flexo International, S.A. de C.V. produces latex balloons at the plant in Guadalajara.
Howard Schwan, President of CTI, stated: "With the completion of this installation, we have significantly increased our production capacity for latex balloons enabling us to respond more effectively to demand in our markets in the US, Mexico, Latin America and Europe. We believe this new production equipment will expand our latex balloon capacity by approximately 70% over 2010 levels."
