Lanxess raises prices of chloroprene rubber

Leverkusen, Germany - Lanxess AG is to raise prices of its polychloroprene materials by - depending on region - up to € 300/mt (or US$ 400/mt).
Subject to the terms of any applicable contracts and regulations, price increases to take effect as of 1st of March 2011.
CR, which Lanxess offers under the name Baypren, is appropriate to produce e.g. cable sheathings, hoses, belts and air springs.
