London -- Michelin UK is marking two centenary celebrations this week. Today a lunch will mark the 100th birthday of the Bibendum building at 81 Fulham Road, London, close to Harrods store. Bibendum, of course, is the name of the 'Michelin Man', after the motto, Nunc est Bibendum -- now is the time to drink
The group also marks the 100th birthday of Michelin's red guide to restaurants and hotels. The UK 2011 edition will be published tomorrow.
