Hankook opens global education centre in Daejon plant

Daejeon, Korea -- Hankook Tire has established a Global Education Centre at its Daejeon plant, with the aim of supporting the company's global production system.
It can simultaneously accommodate about 250 trainees and has seven indoor and outdoor training spaces with the latest educational materials and apparatus and a large auditorium, a computer room, a lounge, lodgings, and other facilities.
The indoor training space has practice rooms for training on machinery, electricity and 3D simulation. Training will be conducted using videos and miniature models. At the outdoor space, large facilities that are already being or soon will be used at plants are in place to provide practical training.
