Skellerup MD retires after 16 years
ERJ staff report (DS)
Christcurch, New Zealand -- Donald Stewart, the long serving managing director of Skellerup Holdings, has decided to leave the company. He will formally remain in his role until 30 June 2010, but will continue with the company for a further period of time to ensure a successful handover. A search for a replacement is currently underway.
Stewart joined the Skellerup Group in 1979, rising to become Managing Director in 1992.
During his tenure Donald has overseen a significant transformation in
strategic direction. Skellerup has moved from being a conglomeration of NZ
based manufacturing businesses and is now an innovator of technical polymer
products and vacuum pumps, selling to international niche markets, with
manufacturing operations in NZ, Australia, China, UK and Italy.
