Bridgestone establishes sales company in Vietnam

Tokyo -- Bridgestone has established a new tyre sales company based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, through its subsidiary Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd. (BSAP).
Bridgestone Tire Sales Vietnam Liability Company (BSTVN) has a capital of around $700 000 (Euro 520 000), employs 18 staff and sells tyres for passenger cars, trucks, buses and others, a 1 April Bridgestone statement said.
Bridgestone sees Indochina as one of its “most strategic growth areas,†and sees Vietnam as having “stable and continuous economic growth†as well as a steady increase in tyre demand, the statement added.
