Conti raises truck tyre prices
ERJ staff report (DS)
Hanover, Germany -- Prices for commercial vehicle tyres from Continental's European headquarters in Germany will rise 5.5 percent on average as of May 1, 2010. This price increase applies to tyre replacement business all over Europe.
Continental said it is reacting to the massive rise in raw material prices, above all for oil and natural rubber, since the second half of 2009.
