JK Tyre to build new plant in Karnataka - reports

Karnataka, India -- JK Tyre is reportedly to invest around Rs 8000 million (euro 122 million) on a new truck, bus and car tyre plant.
The company issued a statemant quoting JK Tyre & Industries president Arun Bajoria saying, "JK Tyre has recently completed a Rs 315-crore (euro 48 million) expansion project to increase truck and bus radial tyre capacity from four lakh (400 000) to eight lakh (800 000) tyres per annum and is also planning to invest Rs 1,200 crore (euro 182 million) in the next three to four years to fulfill the demand for quality tyres."
