TTE 2009 conference schedule announced

Hamburg, Germany -- Organisers of the Tire Technology Expo 2009 have released the initial conference programme. The event will take place from 17 Feb - 19 February 2009 in the Hamburg Messecentrum.
Over three days, the conference aims to cover the following topics
- Day 1 (Tue 17 Feb)
- Tyre technology versus increasing costs and performance regulations
- Manufacturing technologies
- The virtual tyre (1) - learning more from tyre property predictions
- Day 2 (Wed 18 Feb)
- Tyre material innovations
- Getting increased value from tyre compounding additives
- Tyre regulations - a force for progress or a farce?
- 4 x 4 road and off-road tyres
- The tyrosafe project
- The virtual tyre (2)
- Cord advances
- Day 3 (Thur 19 Feb)
- The intelligent tyre's role in vehicle electronic systems
- Natural rubber, the evolving polymer
- Consequences for tyres of their more complex lifestyle and longer life potential
