'Prospects for Run-Flat tires' available
ERJ staff report (DS)
Amherst, Massachusetts -- Notch Consulting is making its, Prospects for Run-Flat Tires  available through Research & Markets. The 122-page report was first published in February 2007 and is available for a price of around Euro 3000, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, "Prospects for Run-Flat Tires is a market research report covering the global market for run-flat tires (RFT), which are pneumatic tires designed to run for an extended period following loss of air pressure. Currently comprising less than one percent of total tire demand, run-flats a small but rapidly growing segment of the tire industry, particularly in high performance and ultrahigh performance tires. This rapid growth is being led by OE markets as more automakers, led by BMW, opt for run-flats on their new vehicles as a means of reducing vehicle weight, saving interior room by eliminating the spare, and enhancing safety and convenience."
ERJ has not seen this report and can make no comment on the quality of the research or of the conclusions.
