Carbon black data book published

Amherst, Massachusetts -- Notch Consulting is making its, Carbon Black World Data Book available through Research & Markets. The 457-page report was first published in August 2007 and is available for a price of around Euro 4000, depending on delivery options.
The publishers say, "The Carbon Black World Data Book provides an up-to-date and comprehensive overview of the $8.8 billion global market for carbon black, a reinforcing filler and pigment used primarily in the rubber, plastics, paint and ink industries. The report provides full coverage for 27 leading countries, as well as demand for 14 smaller national markets. Data are presented for all years from 1996 through 2006, with forecasts provided for 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2015 and 2025. Full coverage includes carbon black capacity, utilization, production, imports, exports, apparent consumption, demand by market (tires, non-tire rubber and specialty) and demand by grade (tread, carcass and other), as well as market value and average pricing in current US dollars. Total rubber consumption and tire production also are provided for all countries and regions."
