Malmö, Sweden -- Urban Ottosson has today been appointed as the new chief financial officer at Hexpol AB. Ottosson currently holds the position as CFO at the Swedish listed company Beijer Electronics AB. Anders Lyrheden will resign as CFO at Hexpol upon his own request when Urban Ottosson takes up the poistion during the first quarter of 2009.
Hexpol is the rubber arm of the Hexagon group, which includes a compounding division and a rubber goods division. The compounding unit brings together the former Thona, GFD, and other specialist compounders. It is by far the biggest specialist rubber compounding company in Europe. The comapny's products unit makes gaskets for plate heat exchangers and wheels made of plastic and rubber materials for truck and castor wheel applications.
