Bridgestone marks 10th anniversary in Poznan
ERJ staff report (DS)
Poznan Poland -- On 26th September, the staff of Bridgestone Poznan celebrated the 10th anniversary of the plant. With over 1300 employees, the Bridgestone tyre factory is one of the city's biggest employers.
Over the last decade, the Poznan plant has produced more than 40 million Bridgestone high-performance tyres for passenger cars and commercial vehicles and was the first plant outside Japan to produce run flat tyres. If it was possible to put all these tyres together, in a row, they would connect Poznan with Kurume - the city in Japan where Bridgestone Corporation was founded.
