Dana to open moulding plant in Mexico
Toledo, Ohio -- Dana Holding Corp. said it will open a plant in Chihuahua, Mexico, that will produce moulded rubber, soft die-cut and stamped metal secondary gaskets and engineered thermal-acoustical protective shielding.
The cost of the project wasn't disclosed.
The 4000-sq.-m. facility primarily will supply original equipment manufacturers in the automotive, commercial vehicle and small-engine markets.
Dana estimates the factory will employ 50 and provide more than 140 different parts by the end of 2008.
The plant is located on the same site as a Dana Thermal Products operation.
