ECHA publishes new submission guidelines
Helsinki, Finland -- ECHA has now published the document "Data Submission Manual 4: How to submit a valid dossier to ECHA and complete the dossier header". The manual is for companies who are submitting dossiers according to the Temporary Submission Procedures as explained in the REACH-IT section of the ECHA website.
The new guidelines were drafted in response to problems experienced during the processing of PPORD, registration and inquiry dossiers, due to companies supplying incorrector incomplete information (e.g. missing submission form or inconsistent dossier identification). The new manual provides additional advice for companies to ensure that ECHA can accept PPORD, Inquiry and Registration dossiers for further processing.
Furthermore, some changes have been made to the registration section of the Data Submission form to enable companies to specify registration tonnages of substances which are also manufactured as isolated intermediates.
