Goodyear names director of investor relations

Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear has hired Patrick Stobb as director of investor relations, replacing Greg Dooley, who was appointed treasurer for the company's Latin American operations.

Prior to joining Akron-based Goodyear, Stobb was the director of investor relations for TRW Automotive Holdings Inc., a position he held since 2003. He also held investor relations and finance positions with Visteon Corp. and Ford Motor Co.

“Pat is an experienced finance and investor relations professional and has a solid reputation with analysts and investors,” said Darren Wells, Goodyear's senior vice president of finance and strategy. “We are confident in Pat's ability to help the investment community understand the company's business and strategies, and we are pleased to have him on the Goodyear team.”
