Nizhnekamskneftekhim begins Li-BR production

Nizhnekamsk, Tartarstan -- Russian chemical producer Nizhnekamskneftekhim said it has begun commercial production of lithium-catalysed polybutadiene. The first shipment went to the local polystyrene plant for use as an impact modifier.

Nizhnekamskneftekhim said it offers seven grades of Li-BR, including graes suited to use in silica compounds for tyres.
