Michelin US opens annual design competition

Troy, Michigan -- Michelin North America, Inc. has announced the 2009 edition of its annual Michelin Challenge Design. The aim of the competition, said Michelin, is to, " to celebrate, promote, publicise and give visibility to original creative thinking and innovation in vehicle design." The competition is open to everyone except employees of Michelin globally, or those directly involved with the organisation of the competition
Michelin asks entrants to provide, "a concise 50-100 word overview statement indicating how your transportation design solution will meet the 2009 Michelin Challenge Design theme requirements."
