Linatex releases update on new developments

    Malaysia -- Linatex has released a newsletter detailing its latest news and developments.

    The company announced that it has manufactured and delivered the world's largest target backing rubber curtain, which it supplied to the Fuzhou police department through Invent in Shanghai, one of the largest supplier of target backing in China.

    In the 19 Feb statement, Linatex Europe also confirmed that its has renewed its partnership with Johnston Sweepers, a manufacturer of municipal and contractor cleansing vehicles, and said that it expects a 40 percent increase in sales for its premium rubber.

    Nickel New Caledonia (Linatex Australia) said that it has delivered a substantial order of mining hoses for the Inco Nickel mine in New Caledonia.

    The company said that the hoses have been specifically designed for the new mine site incorporating some new features designed to assist in ensuring the life expectancy of these hoses is optimised.

    Finally, Linatex announced that it will be exhibiting at Conexpocon/ Agg, from 11-15 March 2008, in Las Vegas, together with its newly acquired business Durex Products Inc.
