Yokohama announces management changes in Japan

Tokyo - The Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd., has decided the following management changes, to become effective on 1 April, 2008.
Tooru Kobayashi is promoted to director and managing corporate officer, president of multiple business group. Previously he was director and corporate officer, in charge of off-the-road tyre & aircraft tyre division, tyre logistics division, general manager of tyre planning division.
Tetsuya Mizoguchi loses his role as president of multiple business group, but remains director and managing corporate officer and general manager of the R&D centre.
Norio Karashima becomes managing corporate officer, in charge of off-the-road tyre and aircraft tyre division, tyre logistics division, in addition to his roles as managing corporate officer, in charge of tyre North America business dept., president & CEO of Yokohama Tire Corporation, president of Yokohama Corporation of America.
Takao Oishi becomes president & CEO of Yokohama Tire Corporation, instead of executive vice president.
