Who supplies whom in the auto sector - chassis and underbody

Dublin, Ireland - A database of suppliers to the European and North American automotive industry is available for around €1100. The database, available only as an Excel spreadsheet, is compiled by the people at Auto Business.

A sample of the product shows a database comprising 12 fields. For each entry, the fields include: region; car brand; model name; platform; plant where unit is assembled; area (always chassis / underbody); supplier and component. Overall about 600 suppliers are listed, covering 90 categories from hoses and pipes to tyres. The publishers say the database includes 308 models produced under 52 OEM brand names.

The database complements similar databases covering powertrian, interior and exterior.
