Showa Denko profits rise in H1
Tokyo, Japan - Showa Denko has reported a 3.5 percent increase in operating income for the first six months of 2007, to ¥4956 million (€30 million), on net sales up 13.6 percent, to ¥485 000 million (€2934 million).
The company said sales of its Shoprene-brand chloroprene rubber were up due to higher selling prices.
