EU to lift anti-dumping duties on SBS thermoplastic materials
Brussels -- The European Council is to terminate the anti-dumping proceedings concerning imports of styrene-butadiene-styrene thermoplastic rubber originating in the Republic of Korea and Russia. At the same time, the Council will terminate the interim review of the anti-dumping measures applicable to imports of styrene-butadiene-styrene thermo-plastic rubber originating in Taiwan and repealing these measures ( EU reference 11612/05).
The anti-dumping duties against Taiwan include a 9.1 percent duty against Chi Mei Corp., a 5.3 percent tariff against Lee Chang Yung Chemical Industry Corp and a 20 percent duty against other Taiwanese exporters of the product. The EU imposed the tariffs in September 2000 fopr a five-year period
