China to restrict manufacture of cross-ply tyres -- report
Beijing -- China is planning to change its rules on investment in the tyre industry. According to a report on Asia Pulse, the Chinese government is set to adopt a report from the China Rubber Industry Association (CRIA)
According to the Asia Pulse report, the document, "is designed to support technical progress of tyre producers, the development of meridian tyres, restrict the capacity expansion of cross-ply tyres and encourage enterprises to develop their own advanced technologies and a coordinated development of the industry.
